The Wahlsdorf church has been completely preserved as a late Romanesque complex, built of fieldstone. Small windows from the construction period are located on the north side, larger windows on the south side are from the Baroque period.

Inside, the church contains a sacrament niche from the Catholic era. The front door of 1650 is still preserved. In the summer of 1935, a Coswiger painter took over the interior painting of the church. The painting of the gallery with the floral decoration is unique in the area.
