Where the broth brothers meet
The Wilhelm-Raabe-Turm on the Großer Sohl in the Hils near Grünenplan is a monument to the author of the same name (1831 to 1910) - and has long been a popular excursion destination: Who climbs the 15-meter-high observation tower on one of the highest elevations of the Hils, is rewarded with a wonderful view of the Weser and Leine mountains, which extends in good weather to Brocken.
