On the grounds of the farmers Johann Kinateder from Perling (Stoiber), Adolf Bauer from Fürsetzing (Franzl Hiasl) and Otto Schauer (Urmann), a quarry developed from initial boulder work. The company Mönch from Munich operated it on behalf of the "Boarischen" (Granit AG) even before the First World War. Max Bauer (Berndl Max), who was employed there in 1926 and 1927, witnessed Ludwig Knödelseder (Kajetan), who owned part of the quarry and who worked with the crane when it fell, breaking his spine.
The quarry is separated from the overburden and processing area by the road. In the course of time, several so-called "stallions" had to be built for the overburden storage. In order to be able to empty the lorries (buckets) better, the rolling track was lengthened. The free end lay on wooden stilts, the stallion being filled up. Little by little, the square on which the huts stood grew. In addition to edging, skirting and paving stones, clean work (e.g. for the Congress Hall in Berlin) and construction work, mainly bridge building blocks, were manufactured.
The great cauldron was divided into three areas. The left and right areas were assigned in the sub-chord. The Kusser company acquired the middle part before the Second World War from Johann Kinateder, who emigrated to America with his Austrian wife. After the first currency reform, Johann Lockinger (Schopper Hans) was already working for the Kusser company on the basis of Adolf Bauer (Franzl Hiasl). He was busy there alone with his wife. After purchasing the property, the Kusser company went into business in Hintertiessen.
