EuroTurm + Märchenbrunnen - FFM 🚴‍♀️

With a height of 148 m and 40 storeys, the Euroturm is one of the best-known skyscrapers in downtown FFM. Like the opera and theater, it is located on Willy-Brandt-Platz (Kaiserstrasse 29) and takes up an entire block. Depending on the perspective, it appears bulky or filigree. The characteristic Euro sculpture in front of the Eurotower indicates the importance of the building as the headquarters of the European Central Bank from 1998 until the move to the new ECB headquarters in 2014. After renovation, the building has been used by the European Banking Authority since the end of 2015. The most beautiful art nouveau fountain in the city is in the complex next to the municipal theater complex on Willy-Brandt-Platz. In the middle of the pool sits a mermaid whose role model was a pretty Frankfurt baker's daughter.
