Euro Tower (148 m) + Fairytale Fountain - Frankfurt am Main 🚴‍♂️

At 148 m high and with its 40 floors, the Euro Tower is one of the most famous skyscrapers in Frankfurt am Main's city center. Like the Opera and Theater House, it stands on Willy-Brandt-Platz (Kaiserstraße 29) and occupies an entire city block. Depending on the perspective, it appears bulky or delicate. The distinctive Euro sculpture in front of the Euro Tower points to the building's importance as the headquarters of the European Central Bank from 1998 until its move to the new ECB headquarters in 2014. After renovations, the building has been used by the European Banking Authority since the end of 2015. At the end of 2018, the Taiwanese insurance company Fubon Life acquired the tower for €530 million. 🚴‍♀️

Fairytale Fountain
The city's most beautiful Art Nouveau fountain is located in the complex next to the Municipal Theater complex on Willy-Brandt-Platz. A mermaid from the Main River sits in the center of the basin, modeled on a pretty Frankfurt baker's daughter. It is the city's most beautiful Art Nouveau fountain, completed in 1910. 🚴‍♀️
