It was built in 1783 and actually served as a burial place for the count's family members. But as early as 1810, the body of Carl Wilhelm Graf von Spee was transferred to the newly built crypt in the Angermund cemetery. In 1992, the members of the 1st Upper Silesian Marien-Schützengruppe of the St. Sebastianus Brotherhood took charge of the Agnes Chapel and have been taking care of its maintenance ever since. The candle from the place of pilgrimage Czestochowa reminds of the lost homeland.
