The church was erected in the years 1460-1476 from the foundation of Jan Długosz in the so-called "Long-cut style". The church is a single-nave structure with a rectangular-ended presbytery, covered with a rib vault. The rectangular nave is covered with a ceiling. It is equipped with a stonework detail. The most characteristic motifs include pointed-arch portals and numerous cartouches with the coat of arms of Wieniawa (bison's head) by Jan Długosz.

Above the side entrance to the church hang bones and the coat of arms of Wieniawa. There is also an interesting belfry, the brick part of which also comes from the times of Długosz.
