The Ithturm is a 13,8 m high observation tower built in 1912 on the Ith between Lauenstein and Bisperode in Lower Saxony. He stands on the Lauensteiner head, which is 439 m above sea level. NHN highest elevation of the elongated Ithkamms in the northern part of the ridge called "Krüllbrink". Source Wikipedia ... Fantastic view of the surrounding area. It is worthwhile 👍 in any case

Tower is always open and can be climbed for free all year round. Attention: Head in at the top, exit to the observation deck very, very low! Fantastic view into the Weserbergland

The ridge trail to the quarry is an experience, especially in sunny weather, it goes up and down wavy; Good driving skills necessary.
