Since the spring of 2009, the castle has been the subject of major restorations.
Since March 2011, the work seems to have stopped. At the start of 2015, the scaffolding was removed, revealing the extent of the damage to the building.

In 2017, work began to build 44 apartments from studios to three rooms. The facades and roofs have been restored in order to keep the style of the castle classified as a historical monument.
As for the castle park, it is undergoing development work to open it up to the public. It will become the property of the ONF in 2018.
