Location: Solofra, Avellino, Campania, Italy
The Church stands on the ridge of the Turci pass along the Montoro-Solofra-Serino provincial road.
Already existing at the beginning of the sixteenth century with an endowment of goods and with a priest without the cura animorum, it was to protect the road and the traffic of the nearby pass.
It is a small rural church with a north-south orientation.
The façade, facing north, towards the street, is characterized by a double portal with a round arch.
The interior has a single small nave, which stands between two side chapels as if to identify a Greek cross plan, and is illuminated by two windows placed at the top on the right side of the nave.
A long atrium with a flat roof develops orthogonally to the nave and is separated from it by a round arch. The ceiling is vaulted with tapered fresco.
On the altar wall, opposite the door, there is a framed niche, containing a restored polychrome wooden statue of the Madonna dating back to the end of the 18th century.
