After the old factory building of the Louis Schweizer tannery burned down in 1935, a new building, modern for its time, was built on Bleichwiese in 1939, which is still known today as the "Schweizerbau."

Originally built as a tannery, the Schweizerbau impresses with its characteristic brick appearance. Therefore, the formerly industrially used building retains its distinctive exterior even during the renovation work: The facade retains its unmistakable but modernized brick structure. On the ground floor, 5,000 m² of high-quality retail space with a continuous, transparent display window zone along the newly designed Annonay Street was created.

A parking deck with 112 parking spaces was built on the first floor.

The second floor offers ample space for offices, services, and sports/leisure activities.

Additional office space can be developed on the third floor.
