Werra weir for a hydroelectric power station just before Falken.
About 500 m before the village of Falken, a weir standing diagonally in the river divides the Werra into two branches.
The dammed mill race on the right flows about 500 m further to the Falken hydroelectric power plant, where electricity is generated with a few turbines.
150 m after the power station, the ditch flows back into the Werra.
The left arm of the Werra continues to flow after the sloping weir slide out of a flat bed of gravel.(Source: outdooractive.com)

At the point you put your canoe back in the Werra direction Treffurt. A day trip from Hörschel to Treffurt is my absolute recommendation. Bissel condition you should have but. 😉
