The neighboring beer fountain is reminiscent of the tradition of giving beer to the neighbors with which newcomers get involved in the village community.
The tradition still exists today. Every year in February, the neighboring beer association invites you to a neighboring beer, where new neighbors can "buy" their way into the village community.
