In 1901 the old Linkenmühle was torn down and a new cooperative mill was built. In 1937 this was demolished in the course of the dam construction and a "new" Linkenmühle was built on the Paska side, above the Schlaghaus, with an excursion restaurant and a sawmill.In 1939 the Linkenmühle was put into operation as a guesthouse and restaurant.
