Tips
The Krimmler waterfalls are the biggest in Europe and are truly spectacular. You can hike up-and-down close to the waterfall and enjoy different viewpoints really close-up. The experience isn't only seeing, but also hearing and feeling. The route which the best viewpoints (west of the waterfall) is a paid/commercialised route and also crowded with tourists during the holiday season. Nevertheless, it's an experience you simply have to do.

The Krimml Waterfalls are a real highlight and worth a visit, especially in the warm months. Depending on the wind strength, the spray is swirled far through the air and offers good refreshment.
