The church is one of the pilgrimage churches in western Styria, it is dedicated to the "Visitation of Mary" and has existed since the middle of the 15th century. At that time the church was connected to a Franciscan monastery. 1678–1681 the church was given its present appearance by Jakob Schmerlaib. A side chapel was added in 1712, the high altar with statues of St. Joachim, St. Anna, Zacharias and Elisabeth dates from 1767. The church is enriched by rich furnishings from the 17th and 18th centuries and frescoes by the Italian painter Felix Batazutti adorned. In the church there is a Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary from the 15th century, which is said to have miraculous work.Source: Wikipedia
