One of the most famous rocks is the one with the Agia Triada Monastery, because it was used - despite resistance from the monks - as a filming location for the successful James Bond film "For Your Eyes Only" from 1981. The monastery, built in the 15th century on a 560 m high, bizarre rock formation - one of a total of four monasteries that can be visited from the inside - is not only worth a visit because of its distinctive architecture, but from here you also have a breathtaking view of the valley and the surrounding landscape around Meteora.
