This church, despite its very "normal" appearance, boasts a thousand-year history: it was in fact part of the sixteen churches belonging to the ancient diocese of Alba (we are talking about the surroundings of the year 1000) and in fact, from ancient documents, it is cited starting from the year 998 AD. Nowadays, however, almost no traces remain of the ancient parish, except in the foundation of the bell tower, as the entire building was demolished and rebuilt in 1600. The interior, with a single nave, has many decorations, which cannot be visited. freely because the church has been closed for years due to the repeated thefts of works of art.
