You can swim and fish in the Heilbachsee near Gunderath. The lake is quite small, but well worth a tour. In the lake you can see very beautiful water lilies.

For children there is an observation tower with a discovery footbridge and a play ship.

The lake is on the children's hiking route "Kinder-Wanderland" and offers great adventure potential with the pirate ship and the discovery trail. A free parking lot is nearby.
The Center Parc Bungalowpark Eifel is also close to the lake.
