The village church of Teterin stands in the middle of the village of Alt-Teterin, which dates from the Wendish times and was first mentioned in documents in 1338.
The plastered hall building with a southern entrance porch has a western tower in the Neo-Romanesque style with a granite basement, an upper story and a brick belfry, and a pointed cupola covered with copper.
Since the church was built around 1400, every century has left its mark here, which is worth discovering: a baptismal font from the 13th century, two old tombstones from Lepel from around 1400 and from Eickstedt from 1586, a beautiful late medieval crucifix, an imposing epitaph on the coat of arms of the von Eickstedt family (1714 ) and many others.
The altar is decorated with allegorical figures as caryatids instead of the usual columns and was built around 1700.
