Very nice destination or resting point for an excursion in good weather, especially if you have children with you. The playground is great, on the Wiede across the street you can play football and 400m further on there is ice cream, coffee and cake in the Gebersheim sports center (beer garden or inside) and a variety of warm meals at meal times (if the regulations allow opening) - highly recommended.
