The refuge to the nose offers you a unique panorama from the Saalfelder Höhe over Fischersdorf, Breternitz & Kaulsdorf to the upper basin of the Hohenwarte II pumped storage plant near Löhma. In the refuge there is a hut book that you are welcome to enter.
