The large Roman spring version, reconstructed in 1957, is located about 700m east of Kallmuth.
The well room measures 5.8mx 3.5m and is set almost 3m deep into the limestone. Heavy blocks with inlets for the water can be seen in the corners; another such block is installed in the middle of the long side. The spring water was able to enter the basin through the gate-like openings in the sandstone blocks and through the mortarless lintels and arches.
