The Church of St. Anna was built on the initiative of the knight Georg Wisbeck between 1509 and 1516. The keystone in the Gothic cross frame bears his coat of arms. The first mention of the church is confirmed by the document of the Regensburg Bishop Johannes dated March 12, 1516. This document concerned the transfer of the Mass Foundation for the St. Georg Castle Chapel, built by Heinrich Nothaft in 1401 and later expanded by the Nothaften, to the newly built St. Anna Church. Georg Wispeck also donated country estates and thus upgraded this benefit. Further additions to the benefit go back to the 18th century. When the church was rebuilt in the 18th century, the church was given a baroque interior. The church was expanded and renovated in 1950. Further renovations of the church were carried out in 1990/1991 and in 2007.
