It is the highest church in the Odenwald and lies east above the Fürth district of Weschnitz.
The Walburgis Chapel is a chapel to the east above the Fürth district of Weschnitz, which is dedicated to the Holy Walburga. It is believed that it was built on the site of a pre-Christian sanctuary. A first building can be documented from 1671. A new chapel was built in 1815. In the years 1935 to 1937, the previous simple building was expanded to include a slightly larger hall, which was placed in front of the original chapel. A special feature is the 17th century Walburga statue, which is located in the chapel. Behind the chapel is a square with a stone altar, which is used for open-air pilgrimage services.
An important long-distance hiking trail leads past the Walburgiskapelle, the Nibelungensteig.
