The Mas d’Azil cave is a tunnel cave in the Ariège department. The cave is divided by the Arize River, so inside there are two banks with several floors / galleries. People settled in these galleries in prehistoric times.
Inside the cave there is an interactive information center on the geology, paleontology and prehistory of the cave.
