The cube houses in Helmond are 18 cube-shaped stilt houses. They were designed by Piet Blom, who subsequently applied the same design for the cube houses in Rotterdam. The houses initially formed an architectural whole with a theater, but that was destroyed in a fire in 2011.

The cube houses in Helmond were built in the 1970s by the Dutch architect Piet Blom.
The first three cube houses were built in 1974 and 1975 on the Europaweg in Helmond, as a foretaste of a larger project that was realized in the following years. The project had the status "experimental" and could therefore claim additional subsidy from the government.
