The Parish Church of Sant Martí de l'Aleixar is already documented in a Papal Bull from 1194. The building is in the shape of a rectangle about 30 meters long by 19.5 wide. The walls are made of stone and mortar. The portal is Baroque and dates from 1725 at the foot of a well-preserved coat of arms of the town. To the right of the building's façade is a bell tower, made up of three quadrangular bodies of the same material as the rest of the building.
The interior of the church is divided into three naves: the central one, wider, and two lateral ones, with altarpieces in each section simulating chapels. Inside there is also a baroque organ, from the 18th century, located above the second chapel in the left nave of the church, very close to the choir where the singers were placed.
The baroque organ of the Aleixar is one of the few that are preserved in these areas.
