Tips
After the great dike breach in April 1981, this nature reserve was created. At that time, the dyke on the Weser is broken and the water masses are past the Weserwehr u.a. ran into the Werdersee. The strawberry bridge was also in danger at that time and had to be protected with tripods.Today there is a beautiful water landscape in which many birds nest. At some points there are also bird watching observation posts.
