The summit storm on the Pic de Morgon is definitely something for beginners. Unfortunately, this is also reflected in the crowds that are out and about on the mountain at certain times. So it's best to be the first early in the morning. Nevertheless, you should be reasonably fit and wear suitable footwear. It's not just a leisurely hike, there are also short climbing sections.
Before starting the ascent, there is a moderate crossing of the alpine pasture. Then, however, you have to conquer a steep scree field before continuing upwards in narrow serpentines.
