Accessible from the Hospice de France, these Boums are on the path of the Port of Vénasque which has been widely used at different times to trade between Spain and France, to flee the post-revolution French terror or more recently the Spanish civil war.
You can then continue towards the Port of Vénasque and possibly the Pic de Safeguard or towards the Col, Lac and Pic de la Montagnette.
By taking a little height, we realize the beauty of these ponds.
The only points that could hinder a bit are a ford in the spring and early summer (you risk getting your feet wet if you are not agile enough) and a snowfield to bypass in the spring.translated by
