Kleine Scheidegg

Great starting point for the ride on Jungfraujoch and for various beautiful walks in beautiful scenery.

This is a good waypoint for several hikes in the area. If the sun is shining, sit out and have a beer with the mountains staring you in the face. Fantastic. We also used this spot as a base for out-and-back hikes. There's food, drink, souvenirs if you like, and a clean public restroom. The trains are expensive but pretty regular so if you've had a long day of hiking and the thought of going back down to Grindelwald on foot seems taxing...easy choice.

Fantastically located on the ridge between Grindelwald and Wengen. Starting point for the trip to the Jungfrau Joch - Top of Europ and very close to the start of the legendary Lauberhorn descent.

Beautiful pass between Grindelwald and Wengern.
Almost always full of tourists, whether in summer or winter.

Watch the Eiger north face and its climbers from close proximity? For this you have the best option at the Kleine Scheidegg. But you are not alone here ;-)

From here you have so many options to travel further. or to hike.

Very easy to reach, from Wengen as well as from Grindelwald. So there are always a lot of people. But there is also a lot of space to avoid the hustle and bustle

From the Kleine Scheidegg you have the most beautiful view of the alpine triumvirate Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In addition, you also have wonderful views of the tourist resorts of Mürren and Grindelwald, you can go on short hikes and, as a highlight, take the cog railway to the Jungfraujoch.
