Kleine Scheidegg

Great starting point for the trip to the Jungfraujoch and for various beautiful hikes in a dreamlike landscape.

This is a good waypoint for several hikes in the area. If the sun is shining, sit out and have a beer with the mountains staring you in the face. Fantastic. We also used this spot as a base for out-and-back hikes. There's food, drink, souvenirs if you like, and a clean public restroom. The trains are expensive but pretty regular so if you've had a long day of hiking and the thought of going back down to Grindelwald on foot seems taxing...easy choice.

Fantastically located on the ridge between Grindelwald and Wengen. Starting point for the trip to the Jungfrau Joch - Top of Europ and very close to the start of the legendary Lauberhorn descent.
