The Roman Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary is a late Gothic hall church in the Wolfakirchen district of the Haarbach municipality in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau. It belongs to the parish of St. Martinus Haarbach in the Diocese of Passau.

According to the inscription on the choir arch, the church was started in 1502 under Abbot Gregory of the St. Salvator Monastery and completed in 1519. The church is an example of stylistic conservatism in relation to regional late Gothic forms. In the four-bay ship in particular, the late period of origin can be seen. The almost barrel-shaped vault is provided with a thin, laid-on rib network. The combination of cross-yoke parallel ribs and kinked ribs within the yoke distance is noteworthy. On the walls there are simple shield arches with semicircular services. A three-bay vaulted gallery is built into the west. The retracted, two-bay choir has a three-sided end. A rib pattern with alternating large and small apex diamonds has been drawn into the vault, creating irregular pentagons at the sides, similar to the nave of the Grongörgen pilgrimage church. The ribs arise from strong wall templates. The colored version of the structure has been heavily renewed. The stump of an old, probably late Romanesque tower has been preserved on the north side of the choir. In the late Gothic new building, a tower in brick masonry with plastered hip gables and an eight-sided pointed helmet was added on the west side.
