The Magdalena Chapel, popularly known as the Lindau Chapel, is located on the site of the village of Lindau, which fell into desolation in the 14th century. The current building dates from 1867. It is a popular pilgrimage destination for pilgrims and believers. The first documentary mention dates from the year 721 when St. Boniface began his missionary work.

Hiking

A chapel dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene has stood here since the early 14th century. It was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War, and many years later a neo-Gothic building was erected and consecrated in 1868.

There was also a small village here called Lindau, which probably fell into ruin as early as the 13th century.
