Mountain Biking Highlight
Beautiful vantage point! Looking to the left with a view of Alpsee, Immenstadt and Immenstädter Horn, on the left is the Grünten, in the very back Gaishorn and Rauhhorn - to the right on the Konstanz Valley.

A very nice tour that, because of the wonderful view, best in spring or autumn should be made. A small downer, however, are the many grazing barriers and thus less suitable for e-bikers because the wheel has to be lifted above it. Unfortunately!

It is a detour but different than you are used to because it is definitely worth it! You have a small but fine summit cross and two benches where you can relax. In addition, one has when driving down a small trail which is small but as you say so well in the short term is the seasoning. As already said, everyone who comes there must have visited this place, he is just the hammer!

The upper cross is again the cream on the cake it's just so great and I recommend everyone who is there to go to the cross

According komoot map the driveway should be a S1. We saw not a single biker who went up here. Everyone pushed. Incidentally, it was very similar at the "exit" to the east. However, it was very wet, mushy.

The ascent through the forest is not "completely without" due to the slope and the nature of the path. Usually only getting off and pushing helps here! The descent to the east (mostly S2 trails) only becomes more relaxed from the Thaler Höhe. From there it goes down to the Alpsee without any major technical challenges .... If only there weren't so many pastures that keep asking you to get off ;-)
With a fully and / or the right driving technique, the S2 trails are certainly a lot of fun. With my 110mm travel on the hardtail, I often had to dismount!

The trail towards Thaler Höhe is really robust, depending on the weather I think S2 is an understatement, big roots and sloping rock steps, definitely not for rookies.

If you go up the path in Salmas, please pay attention to the bicycles at the first signpost! The other way is not suitable for a bike of any kind.

Not an "insider tip" - is made by many cyclists / hikers. Therefore, think about when (day of the week / time of day) you will do the Höhenweg. Also consider: on the way from the Salmaserhöhe in the direction of Zaumberg there are not only individual "fence gates" but MANY - Bikes have to be lifted over them: ((Requirement for bike technology: S0 - S1
