There was once a 300 year old beech tree with a trunk circumference of 4.20 meters. and a diameter of 1.25 mtr. The ravages of time left its traces and the tree trunk rotted from the inside out, the branches became rotten and brittle. In 2003 the goose beech was felled on the instructions of the lower nature conservation authority. The Geisbuche was a natural monument and was considered a striking crossroads on the feeder roads to the old Antsanvia trade route.
