The Gasometer Oberhausen is an industrial monument in Oberhausen and the highest exhibition and event hall in Europe. It belongs to the panoramas and landmarks as well as the anchor points of the Route of Industrial Heritage and is also included in the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH). The gasometer is located in the New Center directly on the Rhine-Herne Canal. The Oberhausen Gasometer presents the "wonders of nature" from March 11, 2016 to November 30, 2017. The highlight of the exhibition will be a 20-meter globe, which will be staged spectacularly in the interior of the Gasometer. Moving, high-resolution satellite imagery is projected onto the sphere. The change between day and night and the changing seasons become tangible.

Great museum, interesting memory of the heyday of industry in the pot, good views from the roof, interesting things in the area
