I strongly advise against the passage with racing bikes. The deck flooring is made of wooden planks arranged longitudinally so there is a risk of ending up with the wheels inside the cracks.

Modenese historical site: formerly known as the Majagallo Pass, later called the Barchetta Pass, perhaps because the transit was guaranteed by a boat service as in the nearby Passo dell'Uccellino. It has its historical roots in distant times as it has always been the shortest route between Modena and Campogalliano; during WWII the bridge was bombed by the British to prevent the movement of German troops between Campogalliano and Modena. Rebuilt in 1999.
