Bike Touring Highlight
The Vaalserberg in Limburg is the highest mountain in the Netherlands with 322.70 meters, at the same time here is the border triangle of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. There is usually a lot going on up here, but it is well worth a visit with the restaurants, a playground for children, a maze and observation tower.

In 1928, a border monument was inaugurated on the German-Dutch-Belgian border. The monument consists of three stones that once stood at the border. In the new demarcation in 1926, the three stones were replaced by one. The community Vaals thereupon set off the old stones as a historical sight off the border again (Wikipedia).
