    Bullenhuser Damm memorial
    In the street of the same name in the former Hamburg district of Billwerder Ausschlag (today part of Rothenburgsort) is the former school building Bullenhuser Damm, in which on the night of April 21, 1945 the SS committed a particularly cruel end-of-war crime: twenty children and their four carers were killed in The basement of the building that had served as a subsidiary camp of the Neuengamme concentration camp during the war was murdered.
