At the top of the Vaalserberg, right next to the "Three Country Point", is the Balduin Tower (or Tour Baudouin / Koning Boudewijntoren) on the Belgian side. Originally the tower was built in 1970 with a height of 33 m, but then rebuilt in 1993 with a height of 50 m. Those who shy up the stairs can also use the glass elevator to enjoy the magnificent view of the border region. However, the visit to the tower is not free.

We were here late afternoon / early in the week so it wasn't crowded. However, the shops here already closed, but we still got some chips in the Frietkot.
There's a lot to discover here! Very worthwhile!

There are many ways to discover this mountain for yourself. Be it on a mountain bike with a mountain bike park approx. 500m away or simply on a racing bike with ascent or descent on the Belgian or Dutch side. In addition, there is also the highest point in the Netherlands, which is actually funny in itself that it is at the top of the border triangle.
