The history of the pilgrimage church in Fahrenberg begins with the castle complex, which passed to the Knightly Order of the Templars around the year 1200. The pilgrimage church of the Visitation of Mary experienced the heyday of pilgrimages in the 17th century. In modern times, since the fall of the Iron Curtain, pilgrims from the Czech Republic, especially from Stříbro (Mies), Tachov (Tachau) and Plzeň (Pilsen), have come every summer the driving mountain. Very beautiful pilgrimage church that you should definitely see.
