Koliskowarte Observation Tower

The panoramic panels on the observation deck are really well labeled.
Particularly impressive is the size of the church and Ernstbrunnerwaldes, which can only really capture from up here!
And on clear days you can even see the Schneeberg!

The observation tower in the Hollabrunn church forest was built in 1935 and received a twelve meter high steel structure in 2016. As a result of this increase to twice its height, the Kolisksowarte now again offers a clear all-round view far beyond the region to Schneeberg and Ötscher. A top-rope climbing option also opens up the granite tower for sporting use. The watchtower is named after Mayor Dr. Rudolf Kolisko (1858-1942), who had it built from his own funds. The Koliskowarte is easily accessible via two hiking trails in Hollabrunn and can be easily reached in about 30 minutes from the Hubertus monument.

For a beautiful all-round view, it pays off to climb up.
