The Boberger See is located in the middle of the Boberger Niederung nature reserve and was created in the 1930s by sand mining. With an area of almost eight hectares and a depth of up to eleven meters, it is a popular destination for bathers and nature lovers. While the northeast shore offers a bathing beach, the southwest shore is popular with nudists. Anglers also use the gravel lake.

The Boberger See lies in the nature reserve Boberger Niederung. It was built in the 1950s in the course of extracting sand for the construction of federal highway 5. The bathing area is on the north-eastern bank. It has a 16 meter long sandy beach and a lawn for sunbathing.
