Tips
Lonely panoramic summit on little-used, steep paths is also nice to cross. But please be careful, the paths are T2 - T3 and missteps are fatal. Climbs quite steep. Allow about 4 hours for the crossing - take enough water with you in summer. Mountain boots recommended - not for sneakers.

A beautiful, peaceful mountain top. There is plenty of space upstairs to sit and enjoy the view: towards the Plansee with behind it the Thaneller, Zunterkopf and Tauern, to the right of these on the Säuling and the Brentenjoch and all the way in the other direction on the Zugspitzmassiv and the Wetterstein Mountains.
