Panoramaweg around the Schermützelsee
Around the Schermützelsee, there is a 7.5 kilometer panorama trail marked with a green dot. The trail leads through vast forests and deep gorges and offers several viewpoints overlooking the lake. There are information boards along the way as well as numerous benches for resting. A visit to the Brecht Weigel House in Buckow should not be missed on a trip to Schermützelsee. The house on the shores of the lake was once the summer residence of the couple Bertolt Brecht and Helene Weigel and is now a memorial museum.
