The Ronslottet occupies the 75th place in the list of Norwegian 2000s, but with its exposure and location an impressive summit goal. The climb is either via the Vinjeronden (from Rondvassbu) or over the north-east slope, meaning from the hut Bjørnhollia. The way to the summit is sometimes steep, but easy to see and walk. From Vinjeronden the path, always marked with red T's, first leads downhill for a bit, then climbs steeply up to the summit again. Here is a little manual use necessary. In addition, as with all Norwegian summits, a rapid change in the weather is to be expected. Thus, the valley can be in the sunshine, in the summit area but in a few minutes thick fog raise, which can make progress difficult and dangerous. In good weather, a view opens up over large parts of Norway and the other 2000s of the national park. In the rain, the ascent is much more difficult, as countless large boulders have to be crossed (or make the path), the wet extremely slippery. The ascent and descent takes about 6 hours (3.5 high / 2.5 down) from Rondvassbu and about 8.5 hours (5 up / 3.5 down) from Bjørnhøllia.
