Gråhøgdbu Cabin (Former DNT Cabin)

The DNT cabin Gråhøgdbu on Ringebufjellet is located south of Rondane National Park with wide views to the west. The quiet terrain is suitable for beautiful hikes in summer and winter. It's worth making a detour to the Muen viewpoint.

The hut is closed during the reindeer calving period from May 1st to June 10th.

The house has all the equipment needed to cook and have a comfortable stay. In addition, you will find a good selection of food in the provisions room. There is no electricity in the cottage, but gas, a wood stove and candles provide the light source.

Payment is made by filling out a payment form, which is available in the hut.

8 bed DNT cabin that operates on a self catering basis. You need the DNT key to open it, the beds are occupied independently in the order in which they arrive (but everyone gets a place to sleep) and food can be taken and paid for here from the provision store - on a basis of trust. Membership in the DNT is worthwhile for a few nights or more. Gråhøgdbu is a popular place to stay overnight on Rondanestien or on the 3-day Venabu - Gråhøydbu - Eldåbu - Venabu tour.
