Right in the middle of the village in Siebeneichen, on the spacious meadow, surrounded by a fieldstone wall and old linden trees, stands the 18th century St. John's Church.

The St. John's Church was built in 1751 to replace a previous building that had become dilapidated, according to plans by the master builder Johann Paul Heumann from Hanover as a simple, elongated fieldstone hall building. A weather vane in the shape of a fish adorns the church tower.

The interior of the church has retained its uniform furnishings from the time it was built to this day. The nave is divided by the wooden hollow vault in the middle section and the surrounding gallery. At the east end of the northern long side is the box for the church patron, the Lord of Gut Wotersen. The pulpit altar with a copy of the painting "Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane", which is now in New York, was created by Hermann Andreas Elleroth from Lübeck.
