The Mura is the symbol and some consider it the soul of the Prekmurje region. With its many meanders, arms of rivers and bays, it really is something for nature lovers. In the village of Ižakovci, the river formed a natural island, which locals called the Island of Love. Where does the name come from? It definitely shows her love for nature in this area which is really romantic. Even the Countess of Beltinci, Marija Zichy, expressed her love for the island, saying that you just have to fall in love with her. Others say it's just the place where she secretly met her lover. Who knows....
