From 1713 to 1947, it was used as a Greek Catholic branch church of the parish in Stare Brusno.
After 1947, the church was taken over by the State Treasury and closed for religious purposes.
The church was added to the list of historical monuments in 1987 and included in the Podkarpacie Wooden Architecture Trail.
